On the night of August 12, 2015, around 11:30 p.m., an explosion occurred at the hazardous materials warehouse of Ruihai Company in Tianjin Binhai New Area. With the release of photos from the explosion site, the soaring flames, desolate wreckage, and the heartbreaking casualties deeply affected the nerves of the entire nation on the morning of the 12th. Simultaneously, this incident rapidly captured the attention of the world; on the morning of the 12th, Tianjin, accompanied by the glaring flames, dominated the headlines of almost all mainstream global media.
The Tianjin incident prompted reflections from companies dealing with hazardous materials. In order to further enhance the safety management of hazardous chemicals, and improve the company's safety production management capabilities, on March 3, employees participated in a hazardous chemicals safety education and training session.
During the training, the instructor, considering the current safety production situation and the company's specific circumstances, focused on topics such as the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Hazardous Chemicals," safety standards, safety production responsibilities and legal liabilities, basic knowledge of hazardous chemicals, safety technical measures, identification of major hazard sources, investigation and treatment of accident hazards, and accident emergency rescue management. The training also included a thorough analysis of recent typical accident cases and accountability.
